That reminds me of a projector I just read about today:

It's geared toward gaming - in the article they had Halo 2 on a 200" screen. Screw your 60" TV, Jack - go for the gusto!

How much did your TVs cost??? Man you are getting F'd in the A!!! Get one of those bad-boys. Have a game night outside durning the summer and project it on your house!!

I am going to start the XBOX biz in a huge empty warehouse with about 30 of those projectors. Who would not want to play on their own 200 inch screen.

Exactly. I've been lusting after a projector for many years now, only thing stopping me is not having a suitable room to put it in. But one day, it will be mine. Oh yes....

Speaking of displays though, I decided to splurge after getting my yearly bonus and ordered up a 20" widescreen monitor from Dell. They had them on sale for $550, which is quite a deal, really. Here's a page with some good info on it:

I'm pretty stoked to get this thing. I hear Half Life 2 looks awesome on it.

That should improve FRICCCs image with the chicks. I can't wait to get to your house and see all the new goodies you've acquired.

I am thinking of my first big purchase when I get back to the US. I am looking at a sweet little 13 inch Black and White number. Its about 40 years old and takes a few minutes to warm up. But it has the knobs that make the cool clicking noise when you turn them.

Hmmmm..... maybe I should get a job first. Any ideas?

Hell yes - now I've got to figure out what to do with all these monitors. Who needs a 19" Trinitron? It's still pretty functional, just old.

Speaking of Star Wars games, Gamespot is showing a new video of Republic Commando and I've got to see, it looks pretty damn cool:

Dude! Get a job at the Lowell Meijer! Just think... you already enjoy going to Meijer everyday -- Now you'd have an excuse!

Plus then you'd get 10% off General Merchandise!

And I'll rent you the apartment over Rookies cheap!

I played a demo of Republic Commando on the OXM disc last week... it's pretty sweet. Controls like Halo but adds other guys you can control like Rainbow 6. It looks to be the style.

How much for the 19" monitor Ro? I could use a bigger monitor....

For you, Te? Free of charge. I'll let you know next time I'm in town.
