Speaking of comic book media, the Punisher trailer just hit the web, check it out:

I've got to say that this thing really does look like a straight-to-video B-grade action movie. John Travolta does NOT add credibility to this flick as the bad guy, quite the opposite after his overly silly bad guy roles in Broken Arrow and Swordfish. Though I will say that Thomas Jane has the build for Frank Castle, though not the face. Kind of has that Christopher Lambert empty stare....

Also, boys, don't forget that tomorrow is the premiere of the Clone Wars cartoon on Cartoon Network!

Have you guys been watching this? It's frickin sweet! What I want to know is how come Stormtroopers in the original trilogy can't hold a candle to the Arc Troopers of this cartoon? In any case, I'm giving this "micro series" a big thumbs up.

Has anyone bothered to start watching the 2nd set of Clone Wars cartoons? The first premiered on Friday and was pretty sweet. I'm pretty sure they're showing all week at 8PM on Cartoon Network. I'm looking forward to Anakin getting into it with the Dark Jedi. Looks like that's going to be happening soon.

Last time Clone Wars was on, I caught a special that aired all the shorts back-to-back... has anyone heard if/when they're doing it this time? I can't get really excited about three-minute shorts, so I'd rather watch 'em all at once.

Tivo, dude. Or whatever your Dish equivalent is. It's trouble-free viewing goodness.
