'300' Inspired Goatee
Entered on: June 16, 2007 8:42 AM by BigFatty

Some of you may know that I was playing around with the idea of growing a goatee, based on the macho facial hair of King Leonidas.

Now I did not want the whole beard, but I did start out with one to begin with.  Well, it took some time, 4 months, and it is finally starting to look burly enough to make a statement.  It still is not as long as I'd like, but it is a good begining.  I've been struggling with how to keep it from looking too straggley without trimming back the hair too much.  Now, the question I have is - do you want to see it now, in the just comming into fullness, or wait until it is in its full glory?  Or do you even care?  I figure that enough of us play with facial hair from time to time for this to be of interest.  But, while looking for some beard growing (maintaining) tips, I came across this dude:

I am not one to party that hard.....

Really?  You had to throw in an absurdly misshapen picture?  That's a ringing endorsement for beard growth?

That was not the pic I posted!!!  Wow........  I did want to change the original pic, it was frickin huge!  It took up the whole page plus some.  So I went to change it to a thumbnail, but that didn't work.... granted, I could have involved other methods, but I wanted easy at that point.  Here is the dude again.  With all this fornication, now the orginal intent of the post is lost!

The picture, while smaller, is still scrunched and stupid looking.  You're right, your original intent is still nowhere to be found...

There Fatty, I finally defornicated your process.  For future reference, select the image in the editor, hit the "tree" icon, and you'll get the image dialog.  Go to the "appearance" tab, and change the width. But make sure the "constrain proportions" box is checked, or it will get all stretched out like you managed to do both times.

Anyway, that she-male is fucked up repugnant shit.  Is that the internet form of throwing a tantrum? You need to post some kind of warning with that.  That's almost as controversial as the Jessica Alba threads around here.

In any case, as for your "original intent", I'd say wait until you think you have perfected your beard, then post a pic, and we can all laugh at you.  Haven't you heard that chicks don't like beards?  Or is it because of all the Sasquatches in Hungary, that's not true over there?

I will say, though, that this guy from beards.org has one impressive motherfucking beard.

This is the possibly the most homo thread in JA history. First you post a faggy pic with Xerxes giving Leonidas a massage. Then you post a deformed pic of some guy that looks like a prison ass rapist. Finally, you try to call me in to question by posting a pic of some tranny. Which my friend, I have to wonder how you came about it. Got any pics of you getting a mushroom stamp too?

All this nonsense just to ask if you should wait until your beard is full grown before posting? Beards are cool but fuck, this is a typical Fatty fornication.

HA HA HA HA HA!

You should see the pic of the guy I intended to post!  Talk about prison rapist!  I won't even begin to try and place the pic here, just the link:

Xerxes giving a massage..... you are right, all the elements do lend themselves to gayness.  I was cracking up when you pulled everthing together like that.  The tranny pic took some time, actually - I wanted one that looked disturbingly hot.  A tranny that most guys would assume is a superhot girl and bone instantly.  The realization soon hit me that I was doing this search on my work laptop.  Having these sites saved in the internet history was not too sweet.  I hope I got rid of most of the evidence when I deleted out the cookies and history.

You failed to mention that goatees are for fags, or anything about wrapping a goatee around a crank.   Well, why state the obvious!

So - the unveiling of Fatty's Crank Catcher will happen by July 15.  I will post a few photos.  Hopefully by then it will fill out a little more.  The countdown begins!

So you are gowing a goatee - or Van Dyke I assume? Either way they definitely look full gay. There are only 2 types of facial hair that look sweet. The style sported by Maximus and the style sported by Leonidas. Both require the wearer to be buff. You my friend are not. At least you are married and don't need to worry about getting laid.

A small set back on the gay-goatee front.  I had let it grow full natural and was not sure how - or even if - I should trim it.  This led me to the beard site - which is strangely interesting.  Well, I reached a point where the beard was obviously shaggy.  Brushing it over a few weeks did not help much.  SO, I took my hairclippers and the largest guard.... that fucker took off about 3 inches of hair!!!!  I am a far from having the Leoniadas..... but it is nice, trim, and good looking.  I'll try it again with sissor trimming to keep it sharp, while growing it out.  But, with a new job pending, the crazy goatee might not be on my face much longer.

It's been a while since we've had a beard update.  Did you have to lose it due to the Hungarian heat wave yet?

So this is a little late, forgotten, and not really sweet.  But 6 months late, as promised... I am putting on photos on my '300' inspired goatee!

No, I do not think it is sweet.  It was something to do out of boredom.  It is time for me to shave it off, so at least I could share the silliness.

It was not easy to grow, and takes a long time.  In July, I took a huge hunk of it off trying to trim it nicely.  This one came in nicer, but it still is unruly.  The length is nice, about 2 inches down from my chin and is actually longer (4 inches) if I straighten it out.

So here it be:

You know, if I didn't already know you were in Hungary, I would have guessed it upon seeing these photos.

Is that last shot your version of the "dramatic prairie dog "?

Could you look any more morose in those pics? :)

Seriously though, it's not that bad.  I know that goatees are gay but that one really isn't too bad in my opinion.

Of course, once Bone sees this, I'm sure he'll put you in your place.  I'll just sit back and enjoy...

I looked around at some other goatees on the net....  You know what.... mine is pretty f'n good.  Hardly any are that substancial.  Most are close-shaved, scrawny ones.  So, I took those pics tonight after a very tiring week.  With a little new inspiration from the web, I trimmed it up a little and snapped a nicer pic.  It is close to the 300 beard.... except I am nothing close to being so sweet.

Here is the happier Fatty:

And F the Bone!

Fatty, what's the current state of your facial hair?  Are you ready to enter yourself in the World Beard Championships?

From: BigFatty Entered on: June 5, 2009 5:41 PM

Funny you should ask.....  When I shaved the beard off for Summer Fatty, I gave me a quick Paul Sr (Orange County Choppers).  It was not too savvy.  No where near those super sweet beard-dos.  I gots lots of photos to load up now things are settling down.  I'll get that one up on JA too.
